Ngoc Mai Nguyen received a bachelors in Microbiology and PhD degree in Integrative Biology (Neuroscience) from the University of California, Berkeley. Along with her focus in the biological fields, Mai also has extensive experience in business development, product design and mentoring start-up companies.
MARCUS S. CARSTENSEN
Marcus is doing his PhD in Light for treatment of Alzheimer's, and was among those building the first prototype. Marcus is the CTO of the company and supervises the technology, clinical test and regulatory requirements.
Jes has a long track record of successful start-ups within high-tech and photonics. He assists OptoCeutics with his many experiences and huge network as well as his knowledge of IPR affairs.
Jakob has been working in multiple startups and projects concerning the biological effect of light - among those are several projects for Team Denmark with light for improved performance. Based on his previous experience he assists with the business development, as well as being lead on fund raising.
Designer & UX
Jeppe is highly experienced within design and user experience (UX) and has designed multiple products with the user in the center. His work lies on the physical design and usability of the lamp, but also regulatory requirements to the design
GUSTAVO FEIJÓO CARRILLO
Gustavo has developed several high-tech electrical systems. He designs the electrical systems, and measures and tests the electronic components to ensure they qualify with the high standards of the product and regulatory compliance.
ANDERS BÆKHØJ LARSEN
Anders is the software developer of the team, and works with integrating devices and data in the mobile application and the product. His focus lies on high reliability as well as compliance with GDPR and other privacy and security requirements.
HENRIK E. HANSEN
Embedded Systems Engineer
Henrik designs the embedded systems for the prototype, but also for the final product. His focus is on reliability and future-proofing. Henrik and Marcus was the team that developed the very first prototype.
